These Celebs Will Inspire You to Wear a Bridal Pantsuit on Your Wedding Day

This doesn't necessarily have to be a statement on who "wears the pants" in the relationship. Pantsuits are comfy, sleek, and infinitely wearable post-wedding, and that's all that should matter. Not all brides will be into lace and poufy ballgowns, and others yet might not even be into dresses at all, so we posit that pantsuits should definitely be a more talked-about option.

Besides, how great would it be to not have to worry about tripping over yards of heavily beaded lace? You won't really have to prepare a separate reception look, either—a bridal suit will definitely be comfy enough to dance in!

In fact, it looks like bridal pants are quickly becoming more mainstream—we've spotted a few celebs who've taken the unique route and rocked it. Allow them to prove just how perfect pantsuits can be for the minimalist, unconventional bride.

Take a look below.

Celebrities Who Wore Chic Bridal Pantsuits

1. Kris Bernal

Okay, this is technically a prenup look, but the cut of Kris Bernal's suit is just gorgeous. We're loving the slightly flared pant and the strong shoulders of the blazer. This would make a stellar look for civil ceremonies and intimate indoor weddings.

2. Angel Locsin

Angel Locsin got hitched on August 7, and she wore the most laidback bridal outfit imaginable. Her style picks for her big day: A simple white inner, a sleek white blazer, dark pants, and white sneakers.

3. KZ Tandingan

This has got to be one of our favorite celeb bridal looks! For her wedding last October 2020, KZ Tandingan wore a woven pantsuit by Light Shine White, the same local line that made Kris' prenup suit. She paired it with chunky platform heels and a massive pearl necklace.

We also love the fact that she didn't ditch the full veil. She's proof that you can literally cherry pick the elements of bridal regalia that you want for your own look. If you want to wear a girly veil with your pantsuit, go for it!

4. Emily Ratajkowski

Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski upturned convention during her low-key civil wedding in 2018, when she wore a mustard yellow suit from Zara and a black hat with a birdcage veil. According to her, she wanted a break from high glam for her big day, which is why she opted for something simple and authentic.
