Neri Miranda Fulfills Promise to Newlyweds Who Were Scammed By Wedding Coordinator

Cherry Pie Purisima and Arniel Satingasin are finally having their wedding reception.

The Cebu-based couple made headlines on September 22, 2021 when their wedding photographer, Tonskie Elsisura, posted a video of Cherry Pie crying in her wedding dress.

After their wedding ceremony, Cherry Pie and Arniel went to the venue of their wedding reception only to find it closed.

It was then they realized that they were scammed by their wedding coordinator identified as Naser Fuentes.

Neri Miranda learned about the couple's story and searched for them online. The celebrity entrepreneur offered to give the newlyweds the reception they never got.

She wrote on her September 23 Instagram post: "Kung sino po ang nakakakilala sa bride, pakisabi po, message po ako or my partner @jonahcbautista.

Neri extended the offer by shouldering all needed costs for the day: "Wala kayong gagastusin mag-asawa. Kami na bahala. May pa-pocket money kami sa inyo kahit papaano. Wag ka nang umiyak. Kami na bahala sa inyo."

Neri and Cherry Pie eventually got connected and the wedding reception finally pushed through.

The former actress gave an update the following day and the newlyweds were set to hold their reception at the Korean barbeque restaurant.

Minsan lang 'to!
