Filipinos are becoming more open about getting different cosmetic procedures and are even posting about them online! The same goes for celebrities, so here's a roundup of famous Pinays who talked openly about getting different beauty enhancements over the years:
1. Ellen Adarna
During an episode of Kris TV, Ellen said she used to have monolids, saying: "It really makes a big difference. Kasi before I had it done, para akong antok palagi."
2. Geneva Cruz
The actress opened up about getting a nose job at 16 years old during an interview with Preview. "I did rhinoplasty because of other people, not because I wanted it. I always tell my family that if you want to change anything about your appearance you have to make sure that is what you really want," Geneva shared. She got surgery after a producer told her that her nose was "too big" for the movie screen.

3. Chie Filomeno
In 2019, during an interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda, Chie confirmed that she got her nose done. She shared: "There's nothing wrong [with] enhancing something that you have. It's a choice. It's your own choice. As long as wala kang natatapakang tao, go with it."
4. Alex Gonzaga
During a vlog with Dr. Vicki Belo, Alex Gonzaga talked about the procedures she got at Dr. Vicki's clinic. True to her nature, Alex joked that she got a boob job at first but soon clarified: "Nagpa-thread lift ako at saka lips. Don't judge me. But very slight lang kasi ayaw ni doktora. Pero gusto ko talaga yung parang patusok. Ayaw niya. Very sweet lang."
5. Kryz Uy
In 2019, vlogger Kryz Uy got candid about undergoing eye surgery because she was born with monolids. According to Kryz, the first surgery didn't turn out right, so much so that Kryz found it hard to even open her eyes. The second one finally resulted in the eyes she wanted. "I think it's just our concept of surgery and society telling you that it's so wrong that makes it feel so wrong," Kryz shared. "But ever since I got it done, I felt amazing, I felt contented. I just feel so grateful that I got it done."
6. Janine Berdin
In her interview with Vice Ganda in 2020, singer Janine Berdin confirmed that she got her nose enhanced because it was her biggest insecurity. In the past, Janine said she felt sad about how she looked, telling Vice, "'Yon po talaga yung hinanap ko po talaga dati kasi parang nasa-sad po ako lagi, kahit na alam kong sobrang blessed po ako. Parang sa sarili ko po nanggaling yung...ako mismo yung naging source of sadness ko dati. Kaya ngayon, sobrang saya ko na po talaga. Nararamdaman ko na yung saya ko. Ang dami ring nagsasabi na nararamdaman nila yung saya ko."
7. Rica Peralejo
In a 2021 vlog, Rica Peralejo talked about her body insecurities and having an eating disorder when she was younger. She also talked about getting a boob job at 18 years old: "When I was trying to recall why I had it, I really cannot remember anything, like any reason. And all I can remember was it was gonna be very useful for my career back then because they wanted me to transition from teeny bopper to sexy-sexy na." Rica says she regretted it done and that she had it taken out. She adds that she isn't judging people who want or have implants. "Procedures that kinda medyo alter the way you look in a very aggressive way—think about them not only twice, thrice, but many, many times."
8. Michelle Madrigal
In 2019, Michelle Madrigal revealed that she underwent surgery to get her breast implants removed, saying: "I feel so much lighter with my chest. I feel like I'm free." In a vlog, Michelle explained that she got breast implants when she was only 18.
9. Moira Dela Torre
In 2019, the OPM singer talked about the life-threatening condition she faced after a botched nose procedure. After the non-invasive medical procedure, her nose "went on necrosis" and she was in and out of the hospital for three months because "someone made a mistake." She adds that she was even in danger of losing her eyesight and experiencing an aneurysm.
10. Angeline Quinto
Singer Angeline Quinto is one of the celebrities who have been very open about the procedures she's had, saying on Instagram: "Big deal sa ibang tao ang pagpaparetoke ng ibang artista, hindi naman ho namin itatago kung ano ang ipinaayos namin.
Never ko ikinahiya kung ano ang mga pinagawa ko. At hanggang ngayon napakalaking issue sa iba. Parte ho ng trabaho 'yon at kung may pangbayad naman bakit hindi." She ended her post with the hashtag #RetokePaMore. According to PEP, Angeline has had eyelid surgery, liposuction, and breast reduction surgery.
11. Miho Nishida
In an interview with Boy Abunda, former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Miho Nishida confirmed cosmetic surgery rumors, saying: "For me, Tito Boy, gusto ko lang mag-improve sa sarili ko. Para sa akin, Tito Boy, sa isang artista, gusto ko lagi akong maganda, lagi akong handa kung nasaan man ako. Gusto kong maipakita sa tao na, 'Ay, maganda pala si Miho. Maganda siya.' Kasi 'yon naman ang trabaho natin, lagi kailangan tayong maganda, maayos."
12. Ericka Villongco
In case you missed it, she is now based in the USA as a vlogger. Ericka talked about getting breast augmentation surgery in 2019. She also talked about her 2021 rib rhinoplasty journey on her YouTube channel.
13. Nathalie Hart
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Nathalie Hart confirmed that she's had beauty enhancements. Nathalie shared: "Of course I had some enhancements! I had lip tattoos, eyebrow tattoos, I think I've said it before that I had enhancements with my boobs, so I really don't care. I mean, for me, I'm insecure and I know how to take care of it."
14. Kris Aquino
In an episode of her show Kris TV, Vice Ganda revealed Kris Aquino had a non-surgical nose enhancement. Kris said she did not remember the name of the procedure but that it was really painful! Watch their conversation below:
15. Jinkee Pacquiao
According to an article by ABS-CBN, Jinkee Pacquiao decided to undergo liposuction to remove unwanted fat from her arms and abdomen after giving birth to her third child. Her face shape also changed through a procedure called Ulthera.
16. Arci Muñoz
When asked for her reaction to plastic surgery rumors in 2017, Arci Muñoz simply said: "It's my life, my rules." She added that the comments on social media didn't affect her and that she didn't deny the rumors because "What's wrong with that? As if naman I committed a crime."
17. KitKat
KitKat got candid about undergoing different beauty procedures during a guesting for the podcast Over A Glass Or Two, saying: "Yung boobs ko nagbago, dalawang beses 'yan. Yung ilong ko nagbago." She added that she recently got non-invasive lip and chin fillers, too. "Sa mukha ko, basically ang sinurgery lang talaga ilong. Kaya lang nagkataon, apat na beses 'to." KitKat said the reason why she had her breasts and nose done more than once was because she switched doctors and endorsed each one of them.
