While they have showbiz careers, these celebrities prove there is more room to grow outside the industry. They went back to school to finally finish their degree or pursue further studies. 1. Jodi Sta. Maria

Aside from working on her teleseryes, Jodi decided to continue schooling at Southville International School and Colleges in 2017. After four years, the 39-year-old finally earned a degree in psychology with honors and Dean’s Merit. She shared the big news on Instagram saying, "Remember, it is never too late, and you are never too old to reach your stars."

2. Yasmien Kurdi

In 2019, Yasmien graduated magna cum laude with a political science degree from Arellano University. She wanted her success to be an inspiration for working students. In an Instagram post, she said "To all the working students, never stop reaching for your goals and dreams in life!"

3. Nikki Gil

The former VJ studied interior design at the Philippine School of Interior Design in 2016—and that was her second degree! Prior to that, Nikki took up AB English Literature at Ateneo de Manila University in 2009. In an interview, the soon-to-be mom of two described studying as her "me time."

4. Rica Peralejo

When she was 31, Rica finished AB English Literature at Ateneo de Manila University in 2012. According to her website, she’s currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Evangelism and Leadership at Wheaton College.

5. Toni Gonzaga

Back in 2019, Toni took a short course in marketing at Harvard University's Division of Continuing Education in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her husband Paul Soriano and their son, Seve, also flew with her to the United States.

6. Neri Miranda

On top of managing her businesses, Neri still pursued the Entrepreneur Essentials course at Harvard Business School Online in 2020. "Never stop learning. Kapag gusto, gagawa talaga tayo ng paraan," she said in her Facebook post.
