Ladies, Here's Where You Can Order Authentic Singaporean Dishes in Manila

The Singapore Tourism Board launched a partnership with five restaurants in Manila to bring a taste of Singapore to Filipino foodies. Filipinos can now enjoy authentic Zi Char-a cook-and-fry style of cooking that Singapore is known for.

Among the Zi Char dishes are Har Cheong Gai or Salted Egg Fried Chicken from Byrd Tubs, Crab Bee Hoon from China Mommy, and the Chilli Crab Brioche Burger from I'M Hotel's HotKiss Kitchen.

"Many of us are missing Singaporean dishes, and this is an exciting chance to taste our Zi Char favorites as we wait for borders to open," said Ruby Liu, STB's Area Director for the Philippines.

The menus all feature Zi Char, which is a popular cooking style in Singapore influenced by homecooked food. Zi Char is comfort food for many Singaporeans. Typically served in big portions, the dishes are traditionally enjoyed with friends and family.
