"Invite me to Baguio as a friend": This became a viral meme and a trending topic on Twitter after Paolo Contis spoke up about issues surrounding him and Yen Santos. According to Paolo, Yen was "never the reason" for his breakup with LJ Reyes, and that Yen was only in Baguio with him in August "as a friend." He did, however, admit that he had been unfaithful to LJ during the course of their six-year relationship.

During a recent episode of the radio show Take It...Per Minute, Me Ganun! Paolo's co-manager Lolit Solis said she kept trying to talk to Paolo about the controversy, but that Paolo has been avoiding her.
When Lolit was asked why she thought Paolo invited Yen to Baguio instead of her, she said: "Best friends sila ni Yen, mother figure si Yen, at si Yen ang masarap kausap buong maghapon, hanggang gabi." She said she believes Yen is Paolo's "sobrang friend," adding, "Puwede naman sila mag-usap sa Mandaluyong, bakit kailangan pa pumuntang Baguio?"
During the radio show, Lolit Solis even went as far as to say that she thinks it's possible Paolo and Yen had sexual relations while shooting their recent film. In case you didn't know, Paolo and Yen starred in the Netflix film A Faraway Land, which is set in the Faroe Islands and tells the "complicated love story" of a married woman and a reporter.
Lolit's co-hosts, Cristy Fermin and Mr. Fu, noticed that Lolit was using the term "friends" sarcastically, and Lolit said: "Sa experience ko, 'di ba usually ang lalaki 'pag may problema, sa kapwa niya lalaki tumatawag? Hindi siya agad nago-open sa mga babae, except kung parang mother figure ka niya. Pero pagka lalaki, usually lalaki din ang [kakausapin] kasi parang sila yung same language. Kaya...parang, babae na bata pa ang pagsasabihan mo?"
Prior to this, Lolit consistently defended Paolo on social media, saying that he was also hurt because of his recent breakup. Last week, Paolo asked the public to refrain from bashing Lolit.
