Isabelle Daza Shares the Most Practical Tips She Learned From Her Wedding

It’s been five years since Isabelle Daza tied the knot with Adrien Semblat in Tuscany, Italy. To celebrate the milestone—and her application for a French passport—the actress took to her social media to reminisce about the special occasion. While it looked every bit a dream wedding in photos, Isabelle revealed her fated nuptials was a lot less perfect behind the scenes, in a string of amusing Instagram stories.

Now, almost every wedding is bound to hit a snag, and unless you have the magic of a literal fairy godmother waiting in the wings, you better be prepared to think fast on your feet. Isabelle and her entourage, for example, missed out on the customary church photos after the ceremony. As per the It girl, they were kicked out to accommodate a baptism that was scheduled right after them.

To make up for the missed opportunity, they took pictures the morning after instead. “Our fam was not happy,” she wrote. Isabelle and her family didn’t just have to rewear their outfits the day before, they also had to do the entire photoshoot while hungover!  “Imagine receiving a call at 8am to put back the clothes you wore yesterday the whole day, and put makeup to retake photos,” continued her caption.

Her takeaway from the post-wedding fiasco? “Allocate time to take photos!”

That wasn’t the only road block Isabelle's wedding had to skirt through. As it turns out, she could write you a whole list of dos and don’ts based solely on personal experience.

Brides-to-be, make sure to take note of some of Isabelle’s hilarious but practical tips below:

“Safety tip: Do not have candles along the aisles. My dress almost caught fire.”

“You will have some guests that don’t pay attention and are watching a soccer match. Just be a gracious host and provide fans for them in case it’s hot.”

“Allocate time for selfies.”

“Be prepared to take pics with all the guests.”

“Forced all my friends who can carry a tune to sing during the mass…Still unsure if I should have hired a real choir instead…”

“Made some friends work. Erwan [Heussaff] made like 100 cocktails that night.”

“If you’re a bridesmaid, stay beside the bride during photo taking, so you never get cropped out.”

“Disposable cameras are a good idea!! But make sure you assign someone to collect them, ‘cause I didn’t do that, and I never saw the pics.”

Suffice to say, Isabelle and Adrien's whirlwind wedding makes for a celebrity nuptial we'll now remember for more ways than one.
